KMR Consulting was started by Karis Reiter in January 2024. Her business is geared towards helping e-commerce brands and wellness practitioners formulate unique customer journeys that nurture community, retain and expand customer bases and increase repeat customer rates.

Karis approached me with her business plan, wanting to create a brand identity and website that reflected the cyclical nature of our planet and its systems. She envisioned her brand design to embody a modern, clean and minimal approach, so I did just that. The KMR visual identity is comprised of a custom font with the K & M extenders reflecting the curvature found in nature- bodies of water, sand, trees, etc. The typography is made to look strong and organic with serif “roots” and varying stem widths that balance one another. The brand mark reflects the “golden ratio” which is fitting for a consultancy working with business cycles. We designed their website to reflect the same ethos by using their a natural color palette and font. Their website was built to clearly states their services while engaging their clients with nature imagery, interactive menus, animations and call to actions.

We crafted multiple logo variations to use within different applications, along with an animated version of their brand mark to emphasize their focus on client journeys inspired by systems and patterns within nature.

Website Design

As part of our branding and website package, the next step was to build the KMR website out of the brand guidelines we established. This way, all components of their brand identity were complete - from a positioning statement, to their main and secondary logo, brand mark, color palette, fonts and nature stock photography. This was crucial in building authentic and strategic website that accurately conveyed their services, in order for them to attract their ideal clients.

We built a five page website including features such as custom inquiry forms, scrolling text, video and animations while ensuring their brand colors were accurately conveyed throughout their site to ensure the platform, and branding, was cohesive. The client received a set of custom designed instagram posts at the end of this process, once again implementing their brand guidelines to ensure their identity is consistent across platforms.
